Andrew has over 24 years’ experience in the security industry, and has been a member of both ASIS and InfraGard since 2005.
Established in 2004, SITECH/InfoSafe provides records management and raw data security services to over 80 businesses and organizations of all sizes and types in western Michigan. The company handles paper, digital tape/disc, and cloud-based information formats, and offers off-site storage and rotation services, as well as hybrid disaster recovery, training, and consultations.
Andrew has also taken a position as a Mitigation Planner with the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Management, tasked with updating the county's Disaster Mitigation Plan, among other duties.
Allen served in the United States Army for 20 years retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer. His final assignment was as Director of the US Army Transportation School Marine Engineering Division Fort Eustis, VA. His military career included assignments with 525 MI Group 18th Airborne Corps Fort Bragg, NC; 1st Signal Brigade S. Korea; 7th Trans Group Fort Eustis, VA and 189th Infantry Brigade Fort Bragg, NC. He deployed for Desert Shield/Desert Storm in both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in a combat zone. After the military Allen began a career in the private security industry as a Business Development Manager and consultant. He is the Regional Business Development Manager for Michigan-based Teachout Security Solutions Healthcare & Education Security Division. Allen has been a member of ASIS International for 14 years and has served in various chapter positions to include Chapter Chair. He currently also serves as the Assistant Vice President for ASIS Region 2E. Originally from North Carolina, Allen now lives in Mattawan, MI with his wife and two daughters.
George Jenkot has been managing Security and Surveillance Departments for over 26 years in both Native American and Corporate casinos. His areas of responsibility also include Risk Management, Workers Comp, Transportation, and Entertainment. George has been involved with University of Nevada Reno as an instructor covering topics such as Defensive Tactics, Building the Perfect Security Department, and Responsible Gaming. As a certified Alice instructor, George has also been focused on Active Shooter preparedness training in the Casino environment. George spent 6 years as an active board member and advocate for S.A.F.E. Place, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing shelter and services to domestic violence victims, survivors and their families. George has also been instrumental working with the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force, bringing awareness and training to the Casino community.
Jesse is a 2010 graduate of Olivet College with a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management. Upon graduation, Jesse started with CoverX Security as a Commercial Lines Underwriter specializing in insurance for the security industry. In 2012, he moved on to RLI Insurance Company and created a new program to insure security guard companies, private investigation firms and alarm installation contractors. Jesse then moved on to Rockhill Insurance Company in 2013, having been brought onboard to bring the security specialty to Rockhill’s product line offering. Since 2014, Jesse has been a Commercial Insurance Agent with El Dorado Insurance Agency. El Dorado has been in business since 1968 and has been specializing in the insurance needs of the security industry for decades. Jesse offers complete insurance packages to the security industry and lives in Battle Creek, MI with his wife Kristy.
ASIS International is the leading organization for security professionals worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. ASIS has traditionally served as a platform for assisting retiring Military and Law Enforcement personnel as they transition to the Private Sector. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, government entities, and the public.
ASIS Southwestern Michigan Chapter 163 is comprised of Security Professionals from the Marshall/Battle Creek and greater Kalamazoo areas to the Lake Michigan shore. The group is made up of both practitioners and suppliers. The combined experience within the group represents decades of institutional knowledge spanning multiple vertical markets and disciplines. ASIS 163 members are actively involved in information sharing, bench-marking, networking, and the promotion and growth of the security industry in Southwestern Michigan.
