SPECIAL OCTOBER FOCUS MEETING COMING UP!

What Organizations of all Types and Service Providers Need to Know.

  • DATE/TIME: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11TH, 11:30AM TO 1:30PM
  • LOCATION:FIREKEEPERS HOTEL AND CASINO
  • KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Lewis Whalen has worked in the field of disability advocacy since 2007. He specializes in Information & Referral Services, Veterans Services, Assistive Technology, and Transportation Access. He currently oversees Advocacy and Community Education programs as well as Information & Referral services, and is the primary contact at Disability Network for Emergency Preparedness information.
  • PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION:  The Disability Network organization is the only group having a legislated and mandated mission by law to advocate and assist people with functional needs to both integrate in the community and to help each other live fuller lives. This includes the whole spectrum of people with functional needs to include wounded and disabled veterans. This information is vital for the accommodation of persons with functional needs at home, on the job, or in an evacuation situation.

We are extending this invitation to ASIS members and non-members alike. Lunch will be provided by our host and sponsor FireKeepers Casino.
