PLEASE NOTE: MEETING date and VENUE CHANGE!

DUE TO SPRING BREAK TIMING AND OTHER SCHEDULING CHALLENGES, OUR NEXT REGULAR MEETING WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY, april 24th

and we're making a comeback:

to traveler's cafe on PORTAGE ROAD (THE OLD THEO & STACY'S location). our OLD STANDBY HAS GOTTEN A FACELIFT AND MAKEOVER FROM THE NEW OWNERS. (AND DEBBIE CAN'T WAIT TO WAIT ON US AGAIN!)

MEETING WILL START AT 8AM.

WE'LL BE TAKING A CLOSER LOOK AT THE UPCOMING "EARTHEX 2019" GLOBAL TABLETOP EXERCISE. WE'LL REVIEW PROMOTIONAL AND TRAINING MATERIALS. WE'RE ALSO GOING TO GET A BRIEFING ON REAL-WORLD PHISHING AND MALWARE ATTACKS THAT CAN HAVE A DEVASTATING EFFECT ON NETWORKS AND OPERATIONS. AND, OF COURSE, AS USUAL, WE'LL SPEND A GOOD DEAL OF TIME JUST SHARING OUR EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE ON VARIOUS TOPICS WITH ONE ANOTHER. JOIN US!

WE HAD 56 IN ATTENDANCE FOR THIS MEETING, INCLUDING ASIS MEMBERS FROM THE WEST MICHIGAN CHAPTER, AND OUR REGIONAL VP, ANDRIANA VINCENT. WE ALSO WELCOMED THE BOARD AND MEMBERS OF THE NEWLY-CHARTERED "ASIS MID-MICHIGAN CHAPTER #307". THIS CULMINATED A TREMENDOUS EFFORT THAT WAS SPEARHEADED BY ANDRIANA, OUR OWN ALLEN HONEYCUTT (ASSISTANT REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT), AND TERESA SWARCZINSKI, WHO IS THE CHAIRPERSON FOR THE NEW CHAPTER. CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER FOR ALL THESE FINE FOLKS!
